| Snow! |

| My girlfriend started to write alot on her blog lately so suddenly I got a bit inspired to |
| write by myself and also so that she can read :) Sweden is full of snow now! It's seriously |
| a very long time a go since this much snow fell in winter. The problems with too much snow |
| start to be visible one after another :P This weekend my train was cancelled because of all |
| the snow and the following days even more departures were cancelled since all of the track |
| interchanges became deepfrozen and couldn't move. I read in the newspaper one train got |
| stuck on the railway for 10 hours and people couldn't exit or move from the train! So I |
| guess I'm lucky my train was cancelled after all, don't wanna get stuck inside a tube like |
| that without water or food :P |

| Also on the rooftops of houses, huge amounts of snow have been piled up and in many cities, |
| larger buildings like gymnasiums or arenas, the roofs have fallen in because of the weight |
| of the snow. Because of this you can during weekdays see people shoveling snow on the roofs |
| of their houses to prevent the weight, haha. I added a picture of the house on the opposite |
| side of my apartment. As you can see these kind of chunks build up after a while. And on the |
| backyard these ones already fell so the bikes are almost buried by the snow. So I will stay |
| inside or start walking to school from now on :) And soon it's march and time for my |
| birthday and the best birthday present ever will arrive to Sweden again :) I'm seriously |
| looking forward alot! We will have the best time :) I'm happy to have such a wonderful and |
| understanding girlfriend ^^ |

| Lucia |
| |
| On 13th of December we have an event called "Lucia" in Sweden. Lucia means light in latin |
| and it's exactly what it is. On this occasion one lady dress up as Lucia and put candles in |
| her hair. On old basis this has a religious meaning and is associated with the legend of |
| Saint Lucia. Nowadays she is more seen as the bringer of light and her aim is to brighten |
| our lives up in the dark season. To symbolize this a girl is elected as Lucia and she has |
| candles in her hair leading a line of participants. The followers are women dressed up as |
| bridesmaids and guys usually dress with white and hats and also some people are dressed up |
| as santa claus. While the followers and Lucia are singing, special cakes, cookies and drinks |
| associated with christmas are usually served. |

| So anyone coming to Sweden during this period should really check it out since I think it is |
| a quite unique event. If you are swedish and read this I guess you would already know but |
| for the non-swedish ;) here are some pictures of the cakes and the event. |

| Mobile Phone |
| |
| I bought a new mobile phone recently! It's a Nokia 6600i, I wanted to buy a fairly advanced |
| mobile with camera and internet but I don't want to waste as much money as these new Android |
| phones. I think this one has sufficient functionality for the price and whenever I wanna |
| dedicate myself to internet services I will use my laptop instead. Compared to the Japanese |
| one I had at first one thing you can notice is the size, it is much smaller than my Japanese |
| one and also instead of having a fold it has a slide hatch. I changed the background picture |
| of the display, hope you like it :P |

| Also this week i got a present from my girlfriend :) On the 3rd of November we had been |
| together for one year and we sent some things to each other during that time. As usual I get |
| very impressed about the present since I got very many things and they made me really happy |
| :) My girlfriend is suuuper ;) I'm not gonna tell you what I got though but I'm really happy |
| that I got those, thank you Seiko ;-) |

| Sweden |
| |
| I'm back in Sweden again and finishing the last of my education! Sweden is seriously cold |
| now and I kind of miss the quite mild winter that was in Japan. I don't think snow is on its |
| way yet though, we had it fallen once so far but of course it melted right away. |
| |
| I recalled some of the time I spent in Japan today and will put some pictures from the last |
| days on here. We had the closing ceremony of YSEP and took our group picture. I'm quite |
| surprised since on the picture it looks like we are hundreds but actually we were only about |
| 30 people in our class so the other ones are teachers or related people. Anyway, we got our |
| diplomas for the effort of our studies in Japan, a kind of blue thick one, see the last |
| picture! Also one of our class members made a collage that became seriously cool! |
| |
| Also it is soon time for Seiko to come to Sweden too! So I'm trying to fix all things before |
| December so that I will have a lot of time with her ;) Will be awesome :P Time is passing |
| fast... but slow :P haha, I'm happy it's soon finally December ;-) |
