NFOpad can't open some files... |

NFOpad has trouble opening certain files -- I believe it's certain kinds of BOM-less unicode files (not utf8).
I hope the image below will be more explanatory, since it shows how another notepad replacement (win32pad) has no trouble at all with same file...

Admin: Hmm, NFOPad doesn't usually have any problem with BOM-less unicode files. Possibly the heuristics for parsing the text needs more than two words as in the screenshot. Could you e-mail me an example file? |

Admin: The problem was unciode files with the nfo extension, in combination with the "use western latin encoding" setting.
Fixed in version 1.56. |
