NFOpad can't open some files... |

NFOpad has trouble opening certain files -- I believe it's certain kinds of BOM-less unicode files (not utf8).
I hope the image below will be more explanatory, since it shows how another notepad replacement (win32pad) has no trouble at all with same file...

Hmm, NFOPad doesn't usually have any problem with BOM-less unicode files. Possibly the heuristics for parsing the text needs more than two words as in the screenshot. Could you e-mail me an example file? |

The problem was unciode files with the nfo extension, in combination with the "use western latin encoding" setting.
Fixed in version 1.56. |
